kisacchedesign > Also known as the Dome of the Spirits, or Aubbat el-Arwah. Underneath this dome is bare bedrock. Many, including Dr. Asher Kaufman, have theorized that the Holy of Holies of the Herodian and Solomonic Temples originally was located right here. This is in opposition to the popular view that the Holy of Holies is in the location of the current Dome of the Rock. Based on my own personal studies, I believe this theory to be the most feasible.

If you are a student of Bible prophecy, you will be familiar with Revelation 11:2, which speaks of a future Temple, and in it's construction, states, "Leave out the court which is outside the temple and do not measure it, for it has been given to the nations; and they will tread under foot the holy city for forty-two months." This is speaking of a future Temple in Jerusalem which will exist during the Tribulation, and it states that the Court of the Gentiles will not be included in its construction.

This is very interesting, because if you believe the location in this photo to be the location of the Holy of Holies, and if you were to build the temple without the Court of the Gentiles, there would be enough space to build a new Temple...right next to the Dome of the Rock! Will the Antichrist be the one to make this possible??
